With the Smart Remote App you have everything under control.
Many STEINEL sensors and sensor lights can be conveniently controlled directly from your tablet, smartphone or remote control.
Simply load the Smart Remote app onto your smartphone or tablet and connect directly to a STEINEL product via Bluetooth or connect to the Smart Remote via Bluetooth.
The Smart Remote remote control replaces all existing STEINEL remote controls and saves you trouble of searching for the right remote control.

Wollte gerne steuerbare Leuchten mit eigenen Bewegungsmeldern - optimal aus Deutschland haben... leider falsche Entscheidung... denn die Hardware von Steinel ist recht gut... aber die Software leider Philips hoffnungslos unterlegen. Alles wirkt unprofessionell & umständlich bedienbar. Die Melder sind zudem unzuverlässig und die spritzwassergeschützten Leuchten mussten schon 2x wg eintretendem Wasser zurückgeschickt werden.
Funktioniert einwandfrei
Die App bietet viele Funktionen und das einbinden neuer Lampen klappt problemlos.
Man kann Profile speichern sodass man nicht jedes mal von vorn beginnt.
Insgesamt solide, aber es fehlt die Apple Watch App und das Aufblinken der Lampen stört
Die App erfüllt ihren Zweck und ist für die Konfiguration völlig ausreichend. Dies ist wesentlich bequemer als über die Potis bei den unsmarten Varianten der Lampen.
Ich würde mir allerdings wünschen, dass das Aufblinken der Lampen beim Auswählen zumindest im Nutzermodus deaktivierbar ist. Wenn man die Lampe abends auf der Terrasse in den gedimmten Modus setzen möchte, blinkt sie bei der Auswahl in der App erstmal wie verrückt. Nach der ersten Konfiguration benötige ich das Blinken zur Identifizierung definitiv nicht mehr.
Zudem wäre es toll, wenn es eine Apple Watch Apperweiterung geben könnte. Diese müsste auch nur den Nutzermodus mitbringen. So könnte man auch ohne iPhone auf der Terrasse die Beleuchtung per Apple Watch anpassen.
